The Grid VR Arcade

The Grid offers a wide variety of Virtual Reality games in a social setting, allowing the player and their friends to enjoy VR together.

I created the branding and promotional material for The Grid, along with designing and creating a custom game launcher.

 Virtual Reality can be difficult to navigate, especially if you are new to it. This is the reason why I created an introductory video for customers to view prior to starting their VR session. It clearly outlined the Grid’s rules, safety regulations

Virtual Reality can be difficult to navigate, especially if you are new to it. This is the reason why I created an introductory video for customers to view prior to starting their VR session. It clearly outlined the Grid’s rules, safety regulations and the basics to VR.

The challenge of VR is offering a variety of games without the hassle of menus or exiting VR to choose a new game. Talking Dog Studios created a launcher that gave customers access to any game they wanted in a familiar interface. I designed an interface that arranged each game like app icons on their phone.

The inside of the arcade needed proper decor, so I created posters, advertising the games we were offering.

 After the successful launch of the arcade, I continued to advertise The Grid through social media. Extra business incentives were created such as posters, gift cards, and business cards.
